Well you all remember my few koi that started my wanting a pond. Here is the location where all my days of dreaming are about to come true. |

Well after days of digin in the dirt we came up with this beautiful shaped area in the ground...Now comes the waiting and waiting and waiting. Our Liner was on back order for two and a half weeks we looked at this wondering if it would be what we wanted. |

Okay so now the Liner shows up about three hours before the AMAZING POND BUILDER (you may know her as the plant lady from Isoms swamp meet). Her and Rick think of all these ways to hide the whole from me so I wont blow a gasket, now do any of you know me to get to excited about anything.Lol...Well boy werent those two right. Lets just say it was a good thing I didnt see the whole till Saturday and the company was closed for the weekend if you know what I mean. |

Okay so during the grunts and the why arent you picking you end up we mange to get the liner in the hole(25wide X 50 long) boy was she a heavy one. |

Now here is the WONDERFUL POND LADY. Kathy Hightree, wow not enogh words to describe how good hearted and understanding she is. She was always so nervous it wouldnt be the way I wanted it. Let me tell you I coundnt love it more. I want to give a very special Thanks to her and her daughter Melissa for all the hard work. |

After much hard work we start to fill it. At this point I am getting really excited, but I didnt know we would have to drain it again |

Now Kathy is forming and framing the pond. Okay so while you watch her going around keep in mind it took 38 bricks to go around the edge...I dropped the second brick she was getting ready to lay on her finger, she didnt even stop to look at it she laid every brick and waited for the sun to be long gone before she worried about taking care of her finger. Now if that doesnt tell you what kind of person she is I dont know what would. She is Wonderful!!! |

Now the time came we sat up a bottom filter with a fountain in it and I got to start putting my plants in, wich were all purchased from Kathy at Isom's past Swap Meets. |

After lots of dirt adding we start to form the waterfall and in this are Miss Kathy says "I will build it as it comes to me" so of course I'm thinking great I get a break. Wrong she would hunt you down if you were missing because our job was to hand her the rock that she picked out. |

Well as if I wasn't ansty the way it was we had to stop on the waterfall on a count of the rain. And of course the weekend is gone Kathy and I both took Monday off and we still have lots to do. This is what it looked like when I left for work Tuesday morning. |

And this is what it looked like when I got home. I really coulnt ask for anything else. It is the best place on the farm. Thank you Kathy for giving me a dog free and Rick free place to spend some time to unwind. Just kidding I let Rick in there. |

My Oh lord help me I bought Koi and no were to put them pond. So I made a hurry up what were you thinking, your no Noah and thank god the theory if you buy them it will come works at our house. HA HA HA |
